I've been doing slow cooker/pressure cooker meals for the past few months and Boston butt is in the rotation. But put some brown sugar in that rub and thank me later.

I have done some rib roasts of all things in the pressure cooker when I was in a pinch on two separate occasions, and they came out tasty. It wasn't the greatest beef I have ever had but it was good.

Round or bottom roast is good in the pressure cooker. Takes like 15-20 minutes as opposed to 2-3 hours. Haven't tried pork but I did slow cook a loin Cuban style that was awesome .

You left out the main ingredient: vinegar. Even if you think you won't like it, you should at least try it once just to see. I promise you will...

Roast, potatoes, carrots, and mushrooms cooked in a crock pot all day, then covered in Rendezvous bbq sauce.

We do this at least once every other month or so, though I’m the only one who sauces it.

one thing I've noticed about drinking water all day.

I can taste salt in everything. Can barely stand the taste of salted butter and I've switched over to unsalted. I've been eating salted butter for decades and never even noticed the salt until now

I've never been a big salt eater but I'm really sensitive to it now.

no, I pour it on the plate and lick my fingers and rub them in the salt and lick it off my fingers after almost every meal. I'm like a deer at a salt lick. I can't get enough of it.

The thought of Stu licking his greasy, spittle-bewetted fingers? I agree...

Salt is not nearly as bad for you as sugar...

But the general rule of thumb still holds: Any highly refined white powder is likely not good for you. Sugar, salt, flour, cocaine, heroin, etc...
