Concur. With Ryan on the ticket, at least Romney will make it close.
If Obama really gets scared that he might lose, look for him to attack Iran.

Top secret: tell no one....polls pretty much even/within the margin of error means, hold on to yer hat, that Romney is ahead.

Rasmussen, the most Republican-friendly pollster, did not get your memo: His current electoral college count: Obama: 247 - Romney: 196 - Toss-up: 95

He might as well. This one isn't even going to be close. Romney is the republican version of Michael Dukakis or Walter Mondale. He doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of even whiffing victory over Obama. But it's fun watching the fools in here pretend that he does. I'm already LMAO at these clowns (that's always been a given) and on election night I plan to squat and shit in their mouths. And they'll gobble it. Hungrily...

It just makes me sad that the repubs will be wasting hundreds of millions on a lost cause when children are starving in their own home states.

Ridiculous.
Ryan will make Mitt stronger in Texas, Lousiana, Mississippi and Alabama. In Michigan, Ohio, Florida and Virginia, however, Ryan will usher in Obama's second term.

What a masterstroke of strategery by Willard!

Ryan will help Romney in the midwest. He has the potential to be a Scott Walker for that whole region, able to cut through all the apocalyptic liberal nonsense and deliver a common sense economic message to a common sense-oriented population.
Before the Ryan pick, Romney was losing in Wisconsin, Michigan and Ohio. Since the Ryan pick, Romney is now statistically tied. He could actually win two of those states.
Outside the midwest, I don't think Ryan will be a factor. Ryan is essentially running for the 2016 nomination.

Tell ya what....unemployment number just went to 8.1%. Tell me whether or not, in this case, it's a good or bad sign for the US economy.

That was the post-convention bounce.
Ryan's effect will likely end up costing Mitt more electoral votes than it secures.
BUT - I agree that this is a trial balloon for Ryan 2016. Which makes Democrats salivate. The electorate is changing and as long as the GOP forces moderate candidates to make hard right turns, they are going to continue down the path of the Whigs.

How is that Obamas fault?
This toe. You brushed it off and never answered. Why are you afraid?
