Get rid of all background checks. It doesn't make any sense to have them if you are going to allow giant loopholes. Stop limits on all arms. If you are going to allow weapons designed to kill massive numbers at a time, then don't have any rules to limit it. After all, the Constitution doesn't say guns, it says arms.

We have had restrictions on automatic weapons for a long time. Most are fine with that. We are now putting limits on weapons because they look scary and/or because some think a 30-round clip is bad, but 2 15-round or 3 10-round clips are okay.

DC beltway sniper wasn't motivated by religion. It was just a nutcase. The Sikh thing is arguably a much better example, because its target was obviously religious.
