I'm not sure the Texas legislature will allow the Aggies to go to the SEC

Legislature wont be in session until 2013 after another election. The only man who can call a special session is an Aggie.

The oversight committee is having a special meeting Tuesday. Don't know if they can do something temporarily or not. Not only that, A&M and the Big 12 just signed a billion dollar deal with Fox News. A&M losing could lead to a lawsuit based on the value of the games now, which could be a big monetary hit to the Aggies.

This is much more complicated than most think it is and I there are some potential costs out there for A&M to make a quick decision.

A&M's lawyers believe that the Big 12 is in breach of its agreements to us.

By this time tomorrow, there will be a deal in place, imho.

The more interesting question is what happens next...

I heard the SEC has backed out. Fear of some sorta lawsuit(?).

They backed out because of media pressure

media pressure? I thought the media loved the whole thing? More than a few thought it would get us to a playoff quicker (of course, we have a 2 team playoff now)

Keep your dauber up, aTm. You know... TCU could really use a travel partner in the Big East.
