NEWS FLASH!: Danny Sheridan says that his sources have identified that either Cam Newton or Gene Chizik was Jerry Sandusky's bagman. Danny will say which one as soon as his lawyer gives him permission. Paul Finebaum will run a nine-part series on this breaking development, which will be broadcast in the weeks preceding recruit signing day.

Auburn will get the death penalty for sure.

The meltdown thread...

http://www.rollbamaroll.com/2011/11/8/2 ... #storyjump

If Ray Perkins ran a play and it picked it up 10 yards he’d run the damn thing til the Mayan Cows came home or they stopped it.

WE LET ARE GIMP LEGGED RECEIVER THROW UP A FUCKIN PRAYER AFTER RUNNING THE BALL DOWN THEIR THROATS?

LSU you better hide your trees

And from the Ole Miss meltdown,...

There ought to be a spot in the hottest pits of hell for the asshole that invented Ole Miss football

Knowledgeable AD's looking for a new coach will be pretty impressed by what Gus has accomplished this year. He didn't just lose Cam. He also lost his whole OL and his top two receivers, and had to replace them almost entirely with inexperienced freshmen and sophomores. It's easy to win when you've got dominating senior talent. It's much harder to win in the SEC when you are, for all intents and purposes, a JUCO team.

Probably true. Enjoy it while it lasts, which won't be much longer. You're about to lose a boatload of players to the NFL.

I'd be down for that...it's been too long (21 years and counting). That was one of my favorite games when I was in school.

I think we'll have to get to 8 wins, which means beating UGA, which means we'll win 7.

What I'm about to say sounds like hubris. So be it: we'll lose some folks. But meh. Were at the point in the Saban process where losing talent doesn't really matter. We just reload. We lost four 1st round draft picks before this season. Well lose a couple this year. We'll still be very, very good.

Then what happened in 2010?

We won 10 games- and that's pretty much what you can expect from our "down" years.

Then, by logical extention, I must be wrong. I retract my statement.

Alabama is looking at a losing season in 2012. 3-9.

In other words, G,BIIT. Talk about schticks...

Are you still picking Auburn over UGA?

No, that's not a schtick. It was a gentle jab ...at you.

And yes, Auburn beats Georgia.

I'm sure she made him feel almost better, but he wasn't having it at the time. I don't blame him. Dates are fun to take to homecoming but not the game of the century. I never went with a date to the big ones if I could avoid it. In fact, I still don't. I only go with my family for the New Mexico State type games.
