I'm sure he does cause IU will get their ass handed to them on a neutral court next year. Just as Cal didn't want IU in Rupp this year.

Hoosier fans: embracing their newfound relevance with class and dignity, just like their role model.

HA @ Bluecat. Just remember that when the death penalty is handed down to your program when Teflon Cal runs for sanctuary somewhere else.

Not a matter of if, but when.

The only thing I remember is who the current National Champions are.

I also seem to recall which of the schools we root for was the last to be slapped with sanctions by the NCAA.

I'm a bit surprised we're out of the top 25 but not shocked. We've essentially wasted the season so far in developing the most important position on the team . Cal said he could easily see us starting the season 0-2, and I'm a bit frustrated with the UK fans that are already dumping on the team at this point. Even the most subjective observer should have realized we weren't a national championship contender this year. I suspect we'll easily make the tournament, probably head into our conference schedule with 4 losses, win a couple of games on the road and maybe lose one or two at home. I still see us hitting the 20 win mark and go in as a 5th seed.

What I'm most concerned about it his continued support of Poulson - not because the kid is bad but he is a Michael Porter level PG. If Harrow is so bad that Poulson is in contention then we've whiffed badly on this kid (Harrow) and that should have been brought out in practices last year. I'm really at a loss as to why Harrow wasn't ready to step in and lead this team from day one.

6'11" Karl Towns Jr commits to Kentucky. Another #1 player in his class.

Harrow, may literally not be physically strong enough to play college ball. He missed a few games at State with some kind ailment, and apparently has had some issues at UK.

I personally believe the kid is caving under the pressure of playing at UK. That is about the only explanation I can come up with that matches while Cal is talking about Polson fighting for the starting PG position.

so if UK has a bad year, can Cal blame it on youth? And does that mean having a group of freshmen that won't go to the NBA mean it limits his scholarships the next year? It's a good system when you make the FF and then 2/3 of the team is drafted to make room for the next No. 1 class but what happens when you don't make the Sweet 16 and then everyone stays and you can't sign 4-5 in the top 30 for the next season?

I'd be happy to have 13 kids and a 10 deep rotation.

"I'd be happy to have 13 kids and a 10 deep rotation."

Will those kids who came to UK to showcase their NBA potential be happy in a setup where they're each only getting 20 minutes a game is the question, though...

You beat me to the punch. He looks like Wil Smith's, Michael Beasley's or my cousin Byron's illegitimate child.

Kid has ZERO hops, though.
