went on a weekend getaway and got snowed on. I was not prepared for that weather , had to buy coats. It didn't amount to anything but going from 70 to 27 was a bit of a shock to the system

Watched a Western last night called McKinna's Gold

The cast is solid - Gregory Peck, Omar Sharif, Eli Wallach, Burgess Meredith, Telly Savalas, Edward G Robinson, even has Julie Newmar playing an indian with a kinda nude scene and Ted Cassidy staring off into the distance for 90% of the film.

But this is the most low budget garbage movie you can imagine. Its almost MST3000 bad.

Gregory Peck has more than his share of so-so movies. I see his name and I'm like "Atticus Finch, this has to be a good movie", and then I get some bullshit like I sat thru last night

I think I've seen that. Is that the one where they find the gold and then the hillside collapses burying it all forever (because obviously no one could ever come back and like "dig for gold")

oh also not sorry for spoiling it...assuming I did

If you want to watch a really REALLY good old movie (that no one talks about or even remembers) try Exodus with Paul Newman.

Newman plays a former British Army Captain serving the British Empire in the Second World War. After he served the Crown, he served the Jews in getting the land that is Palestine to become Israel.
