We have a paralegal who made some decent coin on GameStop. She took her gains and bought a rental property in Pigeon Forge, and of course the rental ended up being a money pit with all sorts of problems unreported by an incompetent or paid off inspector.

I'm just glad the guys at Robin Hood fucked themselves out of 2.5billion in stock options . Payment for order flow is a concept I never heard of and its banned in several countries because they recognized the conflict of interest.

Robinhood has no interest in helping the casual stock buyer generate wealth, their income is derived from the stock purchaser making more transactions and they are paid thru a 3rd party who takes a little cut from each transaction. They are only profitable if people are constantly churning stocks. They don't consider the stock purchaser the customer, they are the product - just like Facebook doesn't consider their users customers.

I had forgotten the time the cops actually did show up one time when the neighbors called about Dahmer, but what they did was return the drugged Laotian 13 year old into Dahmer's care, which didn't end well for the kid. The cops got suspended with pay for a bit but then reinstated...
