Yea, the Today show did 2 or 3 minutes on how BOTH parties were going negative, then showed Biden's comment....the good thing is that the unwashed see this for what it is....Romney was simply replying to Biden's racism.

That's the same reason you get a pass on these boards. Well, except the liberal part...

"Romney wants to - he said in the first 100 days, he's going to let the big banks once again write their own rules. Unchain Wall Street," Biden told a crowd of about 800. "They're going going to put y'all back in chains."

Since it's been authenticated that Mitt actually said "unchain Wall Street," then he obviously started the chain bidness. Joe makes clear that allowing the big banks to "write their own rules" means the victimization (chaining) of everybody else. Heh - but you know that.

Harder to explain would be Romney's press man John Sununu wishing Obama "would learn to be an American." An how that dovetails with The Donald's racist birtherism. Or how that R Congressman asserted that "Obama would rather you (the public) be his slave." Or Newt constantly calling oprama "the food stamp president."

The best lately is the welfare ad where Romney says "under Obama, you wouldn't have to work and you wouldn't have to train for a job - they just send you a welfare check." Totally 100% false - the government has only ceded welfare job requirements to the states (a conservative's burning desire), but why let the truth get in the way? The HNIC is sending welfare checks to all the other N's unfettered, and that's what you need to take away from that...Willie Horton-style.

The recession that ended three years ago this summer has been followed by the feeblest economic recovery since the Great Depression.

Since World War II, 10 U.S. recessions have been followed by a recovery that lasted at least three years. An Associated Press analysis shows that by just about any measure, the one that began in June 2009 is the weakest.

The ugliness goes well beyond unemployment, which at 8.3 percent is the highest this long after a recession ended.

Economic growth has never been weaker in a postwar recovery. Consumer spending has never been so slack. Only once has job growth been slower.

More than in any other post-World War II recovery, people who have jobs are hurting: Their paychecks have fallen behind inflation.

This is why you campaign with..."they want to put you back in chains."

George Will nails it!!11lll

Romney embraced Ryan after the sociopathic — indifferent to the truth — ad for Barack Obama that is meretricious about every important particular of the death from cancer of the wife of steelworker Joe Soptic. Obama’s desperate flailing about to justify four more years has sunk into such unhinged smarminess that Romney may have concluded: There is nothing Obama won’t say about me, because he has nothing to say for himself, so I will choose a running mate whose seriousness about large problems and ideas underscores what the president has become — silly and small.

Thing is, this was the worst recession of them all. Oprama didn't coin the term Great Recession...it's been painted that way by any and all economists. So it follows that the BIGGEST recession of them all would bring the most pain with the longest period of suffering. Had we hit a depression, unemployment could have gone higher than 25%.

It's been said that since a republican got us in this fucked up economy, it'll take a republican to get us out. I'd like to hear Ryan expand on that a little more as I try to make up my own mind.
