You took pics of a 9 y.o. with a dick in his butkis, what?? No wonder you didn't "feel well" and left (much like Bill Murray after lightning strikes the monsignor on the 18th green)...

I see hedge still has sandusky flu
so we are in vegas and passing one of those field of dreams stores and some dud is outside saying butkis is only there for 10 more minutes. realizing who it was i left my wife in my wake ran inside bought a 8x10 for 59 bucks and stood in line waiting for mr butkis to sign it and take a pic. get to the table and talk with him about my bear fan days of 68-85 and he asked me about what i thought of peyton defecting etc--get a couple pics in and ask him if my wife can get in the pic which was fine with him. first pic was great second pic we hear a noise which butkis turns and asks my wife if that was her. she gives him a look like are you nuts. we then hear a sucession of 3 more and by now its obvious its isn't a chair squekaing. finally after another series of 3 blasts he confesses he's had a long day and that got all of us lmfao which I got a series of 4-5 pretty good pics of that sequenc of events. I was disappointed the HOF mlb of the chicago bears wasn't able to clear out a room with his gas the way I can however.

hedge shouldn't be talking. he foolishly took off his shirt down at the beach last month and he's gotten fairly flabby. I don't hide my flabbiness but he probably should've
just spent 3 weeks in the Bay Area, traveled from Sonoma to Santa Cruz; Point Reyes to Palo Alto; I saw the golden hills and the Golden Gate; the majestic beauty of Marin and the squalor of 16th and Mission; tempted my tastebuds at Floating Sushi Boat in Chinesetown and La Cumbre in La Mission
what did I miss?

Hell, I'm going to be 47 next month, at this age, unless you're some kind of metrosexual homo or just some workout freak, you're going to have some flab, esp. if you like to take you a drank, which I do. But Stu's massive gut is beyond the pale. He told me he's clocking in at 230 now and he barely drinks at all. It's all from stuffing his fat face with donuts and sweets and angrily, aye, even eating past the point of enjoyment, indeed, to the point of pain just to make sure he gets his muuuuuuuhhhhhhh-neeeeehhhh's worth at Golden Corral buffet. So while he's getting zero calories from alcohol, he's getting none of its sweet solace, neither, and indeed this very lack of the solace that he so desperately needs drives him to seek it at the donuts shops, the buffet line, the soft-serve ice cream pump, indeed, the serve-yourself soda stations of every stripe at every disreputable Hagi's convenience mart he greedily seeks out at all hours of the day. Meanwhile, while I'm hardly svelte, I checked myself at the gym yesterday (where I can be found regularly; and Stu? Never...) and I clocked in at 196, which surprised me as we just got back from a week in Mexico where I certainly overindulged on everything.
Bottom line, Stu is The Fatus here, not me...

Did you go to Muir Woods and look out over San Francisco?

It is far more likely that he could see SF from Muir Woods than it is that he will ever see his toes again...

Can't see San Francisco from Muir Woods. I have seen the Golden Gate Bridge from there though.

You cannot see the SF skyline from Muir Woods. You can from Bonita Cove and the Golden Gate National Rec Area. The two points are just a hop, skip, and super monkey jump apart.

I mentioned my family is going on a cruise at Xmas earlier. Now its turned into an extended fambly cruise, which I'm good with but I have a logistics problem.
My mom wants to take Amtrak from Memphis to New Orleans, meaning she will arrive a day early before the cruise. There is no way I can think of how I can get there in time to meet her so it appears she is going to have to spend the night in New Orleans.
Mom is 78 years old with a replacement hip so I'm not comfortable with her being in New Orleans by herself - nor dragging luggage for a weeks cruise around with her from the train. I see her being a victim as soon as she as the train stops. She has never traveled alone to a new city since before 1960, and starting at the train station in New Orleans isn't where I think she should start.
Ideally, I'd love to have someone I know meet her at the train and get her to a full service hotel until I can meet her the next morning to pick her up for the cruise, but I don't know anyone in New Orleans. So anyone have any ideas given my requirements that my mom isn't going to navigate New Orleans on her own.

I'm guessing Dec 19 arrival, cruise is on the 20th.
We're not locked in yet - many more issues to work out but that would be what we're shooting for.
I have to call the cruise line and see if I can get my kids bumped up to a larger room
