Mark wasn't bad, so much as the Jets had very little weapons for him by the time his time was up there. He still has a so-so arm, pretty decent accuracy, fairly mobile and knows how to win some ball games. The dude did play in conference championship games. He's not Peyton Manning, but he's better than Trent Dilfer.

well I'd have to say that the fans, while appreciative of Stoops, have canceled plans to erect a statue of him at Commonwealth now.

Kentucky wanted it today. Had they brought that level of intensity against Mizzou we'd be bowling this year

Someone tell me if I missed something...
Tampa converts a long 3rd down play which puts them in relatively easy FG range, and Marvin throws the challenge flag.
Since we are inside 2:00 in the 4th, there are no coach's challenges...but Marvin tells any official that will listen that there were 12 Bucs on the field on the last play.
The officials at this point decide that the play will be reviewed, despite having shown no such inclination to do so before Marvin tossed his flag. The 12 men were confirmed, and the yardage taken away.
So...how is this not a coach's challenge?

I'm not sure I understand but the ref they talked to said that because Marvin had stopped play, based on the rules this year, the play could be reviewed.

Did they change the asinine rule where if a coach challenged a play under 2 minutes it was a penalty?

they said he couldn't challenge it and it cost Cinci a timeout

I guess it wasn't an under 2:00 thing but a couple years ago the Texans scored the winning touchdown against Detroit on Thanksgiving because Schwarz threw the flag on a play where Justin Forsett clearly was down and then got up and scored. Because a scoring play is reviewed automatically and couldn't be challenged, Detroit was assessed an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty and the play was not allowed to be reviewed so it stood as a TD.

maybe they changed that rule - The ref said last year it wouldn't have happened this way
