It looks like we can control the time of possession. Maybe coach will show them how to control the scoreboard too? This may be a very sad season.

First half one of the worst displays of football I've ever seen. Hard to believe this is the SEC game of the week.
Brutal.

The only part of this game that I would like to watch is our defense. Unfortunately, they aren't showing our type of football in Brazil today.

I feel bad for any player who has to deal with the pain of a broken leg. Driskel had a measure of talent, but he was also a turnover machine (11 from him alone in UF's last 3 losses). This Murphy kid doesn't have all the tools of an upper tier college qb, but maybe he can keep this offense moving better without the gaffes that have plagued it. Kentucky will be a good workout for him, but I dread the LSU game.

Easley done for the season with an ACL in a non-contact drill. This just feels like one of those seasons destined to go nowhere.

I hate it both for Easley and Driskel. Easley is a freaking beast and will be missed on an awesome defense. Driskel was never good IMHO but I'm sure he worked hard to be a starting QB in the SEC. It's hard to say how good Murphy will be, but apparently Jameis Winston is a pretty shaky practice player but has balled out in games (against suspect defenses so far). Hopefully our injury bug got out of the way last year.
I want the Gators to win all but one of the rest of their games.

Murphy and the offense looked pretty good at times, but lets not get carried away - it was still Kentucky.
The defense managed well too after the first drive, but again, consider the opposition.
I cannot believe the DC didn't see the conditions that were screaming for a fake FG - 4th an 5 on the 25, 1st drive of the game, underdog with little to lose and a kicker who had never kicked one > 40 yds. Arkie will be a difficult test next week.

A decent evening against middle of the SEC competition.
Upside - Murphy moves and acts well in the pocket. Receiver corps best in a few years. Offense got through 1st half without a flag.
Downside - Offense often pisses away 1st down with predictable play calling. Defense often stops teams on 3rd down and then gives up a 1st down with stupid pf penalties. Kicking game looks shaky.
Next week we get a real test.

They played exactly like I figured they would. But better. We knew going into this year its wasn't gonna be. Still have some knuckleheads around though. Some real stupid penalties today.

This is what the year will be - beat the middle and lower tier teams, stay within about 10 points of the upper tier teams.

Great, that's 7 starters out for the year now. Mack Brown has been a little better than expected this year, but just a little. I'm hoping Kelvin Taylor gets some real playing time now and shows us something.

Way to beat up. Then losing another defensive starter on the 1st play for an iffy hit to the head. What next?

It was a good weekend to go fishing in the Gulf with limited tv access. The wheels are coming off, the only consolation is that the rest of the division after Mizzou is imploding also. UGa and Caro don't look invincible any more, but Vandy is no automatic win either. I have to hope there's a win in one of those 3 to go with GaSouthern to make a 6-6 bowl trip, but at the rate the OLine is hitting the shitter.... Hell even our all SEC punter has fallen apart.
