And has their been a mass shooting in NY or Chicago with a body count of 12 dead/60 wounded in the last 5, 10, 20, or 40 years?
LMAO. Chicago had 11 murders in ONE WEEKEND.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/05/2 ... 52297.html

It's not as sensational because the killer isn't a single white guy, and the victims aren't mostly white, but the victims are just as human and just as dead.

According to:

http://www.chicagomag.com/Chicago-Magaz ... -Weekends/
On average, there are 4.9 murders per weekend [in Chicago], with a median of five.

The most murders in a weekend? July 4th weekend of 2009, when there were 12 murders from 7/3-7/5 (with an additional five murders that Monday).

Over 10,000 people a year are killed by drunk drivers...Maybe we should bring back prohibition.

put a breath analyzer on all cars (once you have a DUI). Won't start if over the limit. Probably has some health consequences and I would never drive another car. Wouldn't necessarily trust my mechanic either.

I've had one voluntarily for 7 years now since I got my dui. It's a pain in the ass sometimes but worth it.

Unethical MSM = Brian Ross on Good Morning America confusing the nutbag shooter with a nutbag blogger (each with the same name)

Ah, short memory to the rescue. For a guy who can see trends everywhere in the faux man-made global warming agenda, he brings out the blinders for media jumping to conclusions re:shootings.....ummm, remember Sarah Palin having bullseyes posted on her website which caused the Arizona shooting??? Clinton blaming talk radio for Columbine???

That means 30,000 are killed by non drunk drivers a year.

Why do we need cars that will do more than 55? or get less than 40 gph. Cell phones should not be able to work in a car with the engine running.

Do you really think drunk driving would decline that much? Maybe down to 5,000 a year? You don't think people could easily disengage that option in their cars? Maybe cut down drunk driving levels to 5,000 a year? Is that a more acceptable level of deaths?

After 3,000 deaths on 9/11, all passenger airplanes should be banned.

Clinton isn't the MSM, and neither is Michael Moore. Neither is Sarah Palin or the NRA for that matter.

There's no real solution to the problem of nuts grabbing guns and going for a high body count. Less guns is not the answer, and neither is more guns. More news coverage or less isn't going to make any difference, either.

You are free to hate the gun-controllers, and they are equally free to despise the gun lovers . Meanwhile there are those in between who believe in the 2nd Amendment but not so much in 100-round magazines. We'll watch the news and weigh the facts and make up our own minds about 'agendas' or perceived trends.

Look at the crime rates of cities that have the most stringest gun laws and tell me if they are working...

Honest/ethical news coverage might, let's give it a try.
