Saying Oprama doesn't think you built your own business because of the roads is giving him too much credit.
Look at the actual quote. He siad "If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen."
It was not a gaffe. Notice he didn't say "own" a business. He said "if you've GOT" a business.
Then not only did he say you didn't build it, but he said "somebody else made that happen".
There is no other context but that he believes the individual is nothing and that you don't deserve anything the gubment didn't hand you. Nobody works hard and deserves their rewards in his opinion. They don't "own" businesses, they "have" them and that means the gubment can take them if they want in his mind.
This is his true ideology, unfortunately it has been covered up in the MSM, it wasn't mentioned much at all when it happened.

Damn, Obammer reveals himself (for once), and people get upset....I don't get it. He's providing more insight to his philosophy than the MSM got out in 4 years...stfu.

House minority leader Nancy Pelosi is now openly telling members of her party to skip the Democratic National Convention in September and keep campaigning in their districts. This is less strategic advice than a belated attempt to excuse the growing list of Democratic no-shows for Charlotte, N.C.
For weeks now, Democrats have been dropping out of the Democratic convention like flies. Most have offered polite excuses for their absences, though it happens that nearly everyone on the list is locked in tight re-election races. This group has clearly decided that their party and their president are today more a liability than a help in their re-election bids and would prefer to not be seen palling around at a Democratic soiree.

Of course oprama never said Steve Jobs didn't build Apple.
And Mitt should know better than anybody that word-twisting isn't all that useful. He's the presumptive GOP nominee even after "corporations are people," "I like to fire people," "I'm not concerned about the poor (they have a safety net)" - stuff like that. He knows a little bit about NASCAR because he hangs with team owners. He can relate to the unemployed because HE is unemployed..yuk yuk. And you know with 15 weeks to go Mitt is sure to rack up some more beauts..
Was oprama careless with his words? Sure. Can he backtrack and fix it? You bet. Will it make any difference to the hooples? Hell no.
Will Romney give up his tax returns? ...?

Obama's generalities about success being undeserved are absolutely true in one particular case: that of Barack Obama. Unearned success is the central theme of his life story.

Heh. So then yesterday Ann Romney tells GMA that they're not going to give up the tax returns to "you people." Except there are now denials that she actually said "you people" and that what you think you hear is an allusion. Great stuff.
Funny how clearly Ann states that her husband does not want to release information that could harm the campaign....something more interesting than the perceived affront of saying "you people" to the African-American Robin Roberts, imo.

Who knew that, by mentioning "you people," Ann Romney would channel Ross Perot.

Yeah, imagine that the wife of the candidate saying "you people" likely meaning enemys of Mitt and nothing else would be considered by the MSM as worse than the president actually saying and meaning that "you didn't build your business, somebody else did that".
Of course most of us have known Opramas true colors all along, he is a 100% Socialist who's goal, just like his mentor Bill Ayers, is to completely destroy our way of life and economy in favor of socialism. That's not nearly as bad as "you people" though, clearly.

Only problem is they had the wrong guy. He wasn't a member of the Tea Party. That was some poor 52 year old man that has now had to change his phone number and other things because of the liberal media.
If he were a member of the OWM then those same people that falsely jumped on something so quickly they didn't even bother to verify age, just a common name in their zeal to bash conservatives would have tried to kept that a secret.

"Whipping Post." Heh. I like that. And yes, I still miss Duane Allman.
And yes, Chicago (especially the south and near east sides) is like Beirut in the 1980's.

Rate of Killings Rises 38 Percent in Chicago in 2012
http://www.nytimes.com/2012/06/26/us/ra ... wanted=all
The homicide rate in Chicago has soared more than 50 percent in the first few months of 2012 over the same time period last year.
If Chicago were a war zone, it would be a deadlier one for Americans than Afghanistan.
