going to catch the Omicron special at 7 tonight at the local AMC.
You can reserve seats so I chose the back row - I'll be the guy coughing on everyone

Next year is the Dystopian Soylent Green movie year, 2022. That year (in the movie) population of NYC was 40,000,000. And we coaxed old people in committing suicide so we could turn them into Soylent Green and then, eat them.
40,000,000 living in NYC? Not even close.
Now we are all still waiting patiently for the flying cars that Back to the Future promised us in 2015, and we don't have those. And we certainly do not have Paul Ehrlich's population time-bomb either. Most industrialized nations are starting to go negative in population growth. Would Paul have ever said that? No.

IB, watch Law and Order SVU: Can't Be Held Accountable episode. It's totally a takeoff on Jeffrey Epstein and Maxwell. You'll like it. Lots of little girls and high dollar settings. Your dream, your nightmare. Enjoy...

I used to love watching Law and Order (and all the variants.) That was until I figured out that over all 20+ years/seasons, its the same plot over-and-over. The murderer is always a wealthy, model attractive looking, white person. The drunk driver is always a model attractive looking white male. And the white model looking attractive people, they never have any remorse. And the criminals are all, cold, calculating, and super intelligent.
I guess if that is the only way to keep a viewership for so long, then okay. I s'ppose. But it is in no way, a reflection of what cops in NYC deal with every day, certainly not what the prosecutors handle every day. Our criminals here in this country, they are largely dysfunctional morons.

I bet you find Hallmark and Lifetime movies to be creative, well-written and full of great acting.
