It'd be funny if he did leave, then that would be the second person that those innocuous ranks have R-U-N-N-O-F-T. Red Bird apparently ran off because she couldnt handle having it say Sophomore or Junior or whatever her standard rank was based on number of posts was.
If anyody wants to propose changes to that, we all can discuss that as well. I think right now it goes Recruit-Freshman-Sophomore-Junior-Senior-All-American-Legend as you go up in number of posts.
I think right now Me, eCat, Cletus, Rat, Mook, and AA have special ranks which can be changed also.

I supported your RedBird denial. Don't have time to change ranks for everyone. Frosh, Soph, Jr, Senior ARE innocuous.
And while I was kidding with my protestations, I do not like my stuff edited. I think it's an abuse. Tell you what, give me the power to change your profile -against your wishes- from Dune's messiah figure to 'as long as Texas exists, TAMU will be second rate'.
Often, forced tags are only innocuous depending on where you are sitting.

I suggest a policy that everyone is Freshman-Sophomore-Junior-Senior until All-American and they they can choose what they want it to be. Those are extremely innocuous and are based on number of posts. Otherwise, I don't like the idea of someone else deciding what moniker goes under your name. Just too much power, imo.

Technically it's not part of your profile, its an assigned rank by the website, but admins can create custom ranks for certain users. Like I could create "Vol Douchebag" and assign every Tennessee fan to that rank. I'll be changing yours back.
I dunno if I like the idea of you get to pick your rank after All-American or not. I was thinking that ranks, for us on this board anyway, would be different from just tag lines we could choose.
The current ranks assigned are:
Muad'Dib
The Dick Cheney of the Internet
Mr. Pissant
The Pied Piper of Crazy
Henchman
