things are quiet out of LA for me, right now. I have no idea beyond what Gasol has said, as far as the cause of his slippage.
From everything I know about Shannon, I find it highly unlikely he slept with Gasol's girl.

Silvia's hot, but not earthshakingly hot. She must have a really nice personality.

Maybe Shannon is well spoken & articulate?
If that 's the case... who can blame her

Former Clippers coach Mike Dunleavy was contacted by the Lakers this week and is said to be on the team's current "short list" to succeed Phil Jackson, according to a source with knowledge of the situation.
That list also includes former Houston Rockets coach Rick Adelman, who ESPN.com's Marc Stein and ESPNLosAngeles.com's Dave McMenamin reported Thursday also would be a candidate for the position.
Lakers assistant coach Brian Shaw has the public endorsement of Kobe Bryant and is regarded as by far the strongest in-house candidate. But a league source told ESPN The Magazine's Ric Bucher that Bryant would support the hiring of Adelman if the team decided to go in that direction.

Dunleavy would be a disaster.

Interesting if Adolf Hitler could be induced to come to LA. Very solid coarch, and If I were him I would be looking for a better shot at a ring than I have now.

I'm big on Der Fuhrer. The job he did in Houston was just amazing, in my book.
In Sacto, he coached a bunch of fairies (NTTATWWT) to 8 playoff appearances in 8 seasons.

Yeah, Adelman is legit. We'll see if we see the coaching equivalent of Ariza/Artest happens. Shaw is interviewing down there...

I've been thinking for years that Jackson looked like he was in a lot of pain. didnt realize how much.

I'm not a fan of Simmons
the article was good, but there are other aspects of his overall NBA ideology that make me sick
I'll let it all out later on during the lockout

Simmons is funny and entertaining. I never subscribe to his theories, however.

I've been thinking that, too, AugustWest - that he's in more pain than he lets on.
The Lakers story keeps getting better & better; it's worse than a soap opera. I have to wonder why, if all this is nonsense, would Brown even address it in a tweet, much less deny it? Is he that stupid?

Get someone for a couple of seasons and then hire Kobe to coach the Lakers.
