According to Scout, the premier recruiting service in America, which particularly excels in customer service and marketing ethics, has Auburn blowing the doors off everybody else in the SEC.

Let me put it this way... The only reason I know what I do about the links I gave, is because they were on ESPN's front page at their web site.

Cheez gets paid during the up coming investigation. Which is cool because they're the asshats who told him what to do and STFU or GTFO.

I bet Tressell now wishes he had Chiz's lawyer.

1. If the kid and his family didn't understand some things about college any better than he says in the interview, shame on his parents. It's their job to look out better and ask questions.

2. The kid must be lying. We've been assured many times that tOSU does not over sign.

"Our policy is as James Jackson stated: As long as a student-athlete maintains his/her academic standing, behaves appropriately, and handles his/her responsibilities, he or she will retain their scholarship. We have no proof of any conversation between he and former head coach Jim Tressel," he said in a statement to The Associated Press.

And we know he wouldn't lie about it...

If Terrell Pryor can maintain academic eligibility, it means one of two things...

a) tOSU has better tutors than Tennessee

b) tOSU has more creative names for it's basket weaving / chair stacking courses

I see Saban is weeding out underperformers to get down to the scholarship limit:

Darrington Sentimore and Keiwone Malone were (and hopefully still) projected to get a lot of playing time this year. They are great players. We need them both.

It was rumored that DB Robby Green was suspended for all of last last year because of drug testing (pot). He started 6 games and played in all 14 the year we won the MNC. He was suspended for the entirety of the 2010 season and the rumor is he was suspended for the spring because of another failed drug test. If he is now off the team, it's because he's failed yet another drug test. He was sorely needed in the secondary.

Maybe your former reserve DB Corey Grant jumped ship a little too soon.

Robby was a talent at CB. Corey not so much - his nickname was "Toast" because he got burned so often. No, we'll be okay without him, but we would have been better with Robby Green.

Rod Woodson #14 safety, Johnavon Fulton #6 safety, Jarrick Williams #8 safety, Demarcus Milliner, #1 corner, Nick Perry #17 safety, Jabriel Washington #19 corner, Ha'Sean Clinton-Dix #1 safety

Your cupboard does not appear to be bare in the secondary.

Our cupboard isn't bare anywhere. I just wish we had signed as many as Auburn has over the past several years so we wouldn't wind up thin.

And we would have been much better with Robby last season...he is a quality talent. Could've atleast spelled the others so we wouldn't have had one with a torn pec muscle not being able to break up a pass against Auburn...one he was in perfect position to knock down...that cost us a touchdown.

Meh. One play is NOT why you lose a game.

Alabama "thin"? Heh. Leave the "Gentlemen, Bama is in trouble" talk to AA.

I just read that all but one of Chizik's recruits are now on campus. The remaining one - much needed RB Tre Mason - is uncertain but still has a chance. That is a HUGE improvement over Tubby's classes, which were mediocre and riddled with non-qualifiers. His recruiting/retention was the equivalent of probation. Chiz had to sign Houston Nutt-type numbers just to get us back up to speed.
