UNC football player plagiarzes 11 year old in blog writing class.

This quality UNC education reputation is pretty much a myth at this point

It's always been a myth. Now it's just being exposed.

If that was some kind of intentional shot, it was the lamest one I've ever seen. Looks like our guy brushed up against the Dook guy and he flopped like a soccer player...

amazing how adept you've become at defending the indefensible. Swoff must be feeling some heat as he actually suspended the player and the refs.

One of your illiterate thugs deliberately runs into the back of a defenseless player while coming onto the field and you think that there's any way that that's ok?

I guess you think this is ok too.

"One of your illiterate thugs deliberately runs into the back of a defenseless player"

Let me guess, you're a little league soccer coach. Makes sense....

With his constant bemoanment of UNC escaping scrutiny, I don't know if Augustwest has realized yet that he has won. His quest for the downfall of UNC athletics has materialized. Not by the NCAA, but by UNCs own imposed restrictions. It seems it may be hard for him to adjust to his new status as UNCs daddy.

Are you retarded? I thought you seemed a little "downish" when we met. If so I apologize for thinking I've been conversing with an adult.

Exactly what restrictions are you talking about? Have you seen U*NC declare an athlete ineligible yet? I haven't. Have you seen U*NC refuse admittance to an athlete yet? I haven't. Highsmith (plagiarist of 11 year olds) hasn't missed a game. The LB that attacked the Duke WR was suspended by the conference not U*NC. Please show me these restrictions of which you speak.

The spotlight on classes for athletes and the subsequent clamp down for publicity's sake will and is hurting recruitment. I think the effects fo this is more damaging to their athletic program than a short term NCAA punishment.

Sardis, there's a lot of debate on this issue on Packpride. A few people think that embarrassed academics will force changes on the athletic dept that will damage athletics for years. Most of us think that U*NC will claim to have cleaned things up while going about business as usual. Two weeks ago Thorp said that U*NC was going to implement the NCAA's tougher academic standards early. Last week Roy said "No, we're not." The athletes are still in charge over there. Now it's still early in the process, but to date, not one U*NC athlete has been held out of a game or been denied admission due to academics. U*NC has lied and covered up not only through this scandal but at least since the days of Charlie Justice. They aren't going to change now

Is NCState planning to impliment the NCAA's new standards early? Didn't think so. I guess the athletes are in charge in Raleigh too, right? Fucking idiot...
