Our club membership rose 40% during covid.... It was nice not having to fight for tee times.

Thinking of Pele's death, a pretty good documentary is "The Extraordinary Story of the New York Cosmos" where Pele played for a few years in the 70's. Just imagine 70's NYC and that will give you the vibe of this film.

Yeah, our membership is near the maximum allowed (825 iirc) per the bylaws. So, all membership levels have had their initiation fees increased along with all initiation fees now being due upon joining (whereas the club allowed for the initiation fee to be paid for in three separate payments over 2-3 years prior to this).
