You still had a whole second half to roar back....anywho, moot point.

The moot point is that we had the lead with 18 secs... GT could have lost and still gone to the Orange Bowl. Georgia lost the Peach Bowl and ended up in the Toilet Bowl. Fuck the 2014 season and feed it fish heads.

Be thankful that Bridgewater is gone. F*cker was freaking untouchable in bowl games.

Bobo looks to be headed to Colorado State. Good for him. He's a damn good dawg, and a better OC than Georgia fans ever gave him credit for during his tenure. I have my criticisms, but Georgia's offense has not been the problem the past 7 years.

It'll be interesting to see how Bobo does in CO. That state has a fraction of the local HS talent that UGA has to pick from year after year.

No matter who is the head coach at UGA, the in-state HS talent will always ensure his hand will always include two aces and three kings. (Bama's will always have five aces, but that's a different post.) Bobo won't have that luxury out west. But I wish him well.

FWIW, Ft. Collins is a VERY nice place. I visit there about once per year. My cousin just retired as the fire chief there. Does Bobo like to ski?

Agreed. FT. Collins is a nice place.

Nice finish to the season. It was disappointing to end up in the Belk Bowl, but I enjoyed every minute of Chubb demolishing Grantham's defense and Pruitt shutting down Petrino's offense.

Go Dawgs, and Happy New Year guys!

Tires -er, I mean Belks.
Good to see an SEC team beat the 'ville.

Reports that Richt will get a contract extension. Looks like the string of 11-2/10-3 seasons at UGA will continue.

Better than 7-6, 6-7 seasons.

Correct. A reliable 10-2 coach is better than rolling the dice and winding up like Tennessee after Fulmer or Bama between between Bear and Saban (minus Stallings).

Of course, the Mike Price era as head coach at Bama was memorable.

Frustrating and understandable. I've lost confidence and optimism that we can navigate a 12 game season and then advance through 3 more games to win a title, but it is hard to bemoan winning 10 a year.

I just want for more of UGA's allotted annual 2 losses to be to Auburn.

We've had decent success against Bama, but victories over the Dawgs have been few and far between recently. During the Dye vs. Dooley era it was just the opposite. Oh well...

At least losing to Georgia has less of an impact on your title chances than in the past.

True. The SEC West champion - whoever they are - seldom have to face the Dawgs in the GA Dome.

Mizzou is a different story.

Funny but wrong as always... Auburn has NEVER made it in a year they lost to Georgia, but Georgia did lose to Auburn in 2005 and still advance and win the SEC.

10 - Florida: 7-3
9 - Alabama: 5-4
5 - LSU: 4-1
5 - Auburn 3-2
5 - Georgia: 2-3
5 - Tennessee: 2-3
3 - Arkansas: 0-3
2 - Missouri: 0-2
1 - Mississippi State: 0-1
1 - South Carolina: 0-1

I didn't say Auburn goes to the SECCG after losing to UGA. I said that the SEC-E champion - whoever they are - seldom faces UGA in the SECCG. Those are two wildly different things.
