Look, Bama is not near the team of Supermen that the media is making out:

1. Our offense bogs down way too frequently.

2. Our defense looks great, but other than Arkie, what good offense have we faced? The answer for those playing at home is...no one).

3. Our punter is below average and our FG kicker is too.

4. Our kick and punt coverage is horrible.

We look a bit better than we are because the teams we've played are a bit worse, and as a whole the SEC is down.

I, I, I...don't even gave any words for this - except to say that I would be pissed if the Alabama Governor had said it to LSU.
he's talking about Cricket. it's the only sport them Indians (dot, not feather) know anything about.

He just went through an election and won. That's what makes me think that's sincere.
Jindal is always calculating. He begin gunning for President or Vice-President as soon as he was 1st elected only to be side-tracked by his Howdy-Doody moment. He's been gunning for the 2014 Senate seat as soon as he realized the Presidency is currently beyond him.

Well, it would backfire with me. Besides it being a low rent response, I do not want the governor firing up the other team's players.

And yes, you should stop by woolly. In fairness though, you wouldn't get much competition for internet chess. some of those guys seem to live to start shit threads, and then wonder why they get flamed.

But Jama did a good job with it...much like shaggybevo.

1. Our offense bogs down way too frequently.
With that defense, your offense doesn't have to be that great. Even if they were only able to manage two touchdowns and a field goal, that would enough to beat nearly every team in the country. And with Richardson, your offense can score way more than that against everybody, with the possible exception of LSU.
3. Our punter is below average and our FG kicker is too.
Is LSU's kicking game markedly better than Bama's? That could be a real factor on Saturday.

Yes, LSU has two of the best kickers in the country.

Interesting. That might offset some of Bama's advantages: homefield and Richardson.

That's going to be the game of the year. The SECCG and BCSCG will be anticlimactic.

I'm especially looking forward to watching two teams that still excel in the dying art of defense.

Or else the deeper punts will let TR have a few more carries, a few more yards, and let us have a little more time of possession

Or maybe Bama's (reportedly) inferior kicker will sail the almost winning field goal "wide right," a la Bobby Bowden.

Wide Right is soooooo 15 years ago. Our last couple of kickers have been pretty damned good.

The whole country saw those infamous wide right's 15 years ago.

If you have better kickers now, few outside the state of Florida have noticed. The "Noles haven't been on national tv much in the past 15 years.
