"Those were wayyyyyy more scary than any episode of The Walking Dead."
The Walking Dead? That's not even about zombies anymore and hasn't been for years. Totally stupid. But I do watch it sometimes..

Scarlett Johansen just filed a lawsuit against Disney.
https://www.nationalreview.com/corner/s ... ue-reading
It appears, releasing the movie to Disney+ for streaming service the day it hit the theaters may have hurt her revenue share. She has made $20,000,000 (so far) in her share of ticket sales AND her share from streaming, but she is claiming she would get much more than that had they not released it so soon for streaming.
All I know is that we bought it because my 17 year old daughter simply had to have it. So that is $29.99 that Disney+ got from us and (what?) $1 or $2 of that thirty for scarjost? I don't know.

Probably $0 of your money went to Scarlett Johansson. She probably gets extra compensation only by a box office bonus, and maybe she'll get a residual of the actual profit the movie makes. I would bet that Disney considers streaming revenue like the Premier Access fees to go into the residual side (when she signed her contract Premier Access probably wasnt even a thing that Disney could do). Nobody ever gets paid residuals because no movie ever actually makes a profit. People who have residuals in Star Wars (Episode IV), for example, never earned a penny off of them because the movie hasn't made a profit. Maybe one day Star Wars (and Black Widow) will earn some money and get into the black...

if that is the case, then her box office bonus wasn't that much. Her baby sister stole the show but Scarlett was supposed to be THE STAR. Tom Cruise's box office bonus for
War of the World's was
nine-fucking-figures
https://everythingwhat.com/how-much-did ... the-worlds
Tom Cruise – War of the Worlds $100,000,000. IN order for the movie with a budget of $132 to be greenlight, Tom Cruise decided to take a 20% percent of the movie's gross sales rather than receive a salary from the role. And it paid off. War of the Worlds went on to earn $591 million worldwide.
Of course, the Church of Scientology probably took half of what he net from that, because they brainwashed him into believing that his "clear status" gets him all this money out in the world.

My brother was in Scientology late 70s early 80s. My dad went out there and kidnapped him and brought him home. He was deprogrammed.
