After typing I wasn't sure I used the proper plural form of bonanza. It could be just bonanza without the 's', but who knows.

Soccer got a 2.4 going up against the NASCAR race, which I havent seen a number for. The Yankees-Mets was highest rated sports program Sunday at 2.7 but in primetime. US Olympic trials got a 1.2. NASCAR probably got a 2-3 number as well, I bet its on the lower end.

the road race was actually pretty good. bowyer bush and stewart put on a good show for about the last 20 laps.
0-0 after 90 minutes with a kickball x 5 shootout--not so good

why are all the euro's saying Spain's the first team to win three straight international cups?
they didn't win the Olympics, nor did they win the Confederations Cup.

3 straight major tournaments, of which there are only 2 for European teams, the world cup and the european championships. Confed cup is not considered a big deal, and the Olympics is not even a full squad tournament.

that seems like BS. so they're saying there are only 2 major tournaments that exist?

Yes, what other ones would you argue for? The Confed Cup is a glorified friendly tournament with only 8 teams. The Olympics are a youth tournament where your best players dont even play. Copa America is also a major tournament for South American teams, and African Cup of Nations, Gold Cup, Asian Championships as well for those countries although they wont be taken seriously in Europe or South America because the strength of the squads are not nearly as good.
