After much gnashing of teeth and wringing of hands, I am back on board with Richt for the next two seasons. Georgia is building something special. Alabama and Florida torpedoed the program in 2008 by destroying a loaded Georgia team. It took Richt until 2011 to recover. Recruiting slipped and the results began to quickly diminish. To his credit, he landed the dream team recruiting class and Georgia rebounded to two straight title games in 2011 and 2012. If not for C.J. Mosley's terrific play to save the game, Georgia may have won the 2012 SEC and MNC.

Two years have passed since the resurgence and Georgia has found a quality defensive coordinator and is recruiting lights out. The offense is scoring at a record setting pace, and Georgia has begun to beat Florida. Make no mistake, this year was a face plant. BUT, I believe Richt is the right man for the job and will get us where we want to go. Georgia needs defensive backs and defensive linemen. We are landing and attracting just those types of players. We have a good QB in the wings and the best QB in the country coming in the fall of 2016. No one has better running backs anywhere. Richt's contract runs through 2016. I am firmly in his corner through that season. Georgia simply needs to move on and not renew his contract if he cannot pull out a SEC Title and get in the CFB Playoff by then. I believe he will regardless of how mad I am at him for the South Carolina and Florida losses this year.

How did the Dawgs not score 50 on Tech? Their defense is small but slow.

Time to kick Vandy and South Carolina to the curb. Oh shit they're good at baseball.

Well......also, Chubby got out-rushed by a b-back in a high school offense.

We both know if Tech goes down 21-0 early that it would have been our typical 34-17 outcome. Congrats on the great season, and enjoy the Orange Bowl. I hope it is warm this time.
