FIL married a Chinese nurse who was like 25 years younger than him.

His plan was to have this submissive woman who took care of him until he died and that's exactly what she did.

Then she took all his daughters inheritance money and gave it to her son from a previous marriage.

Since SpaceXAI came out with their Grok Bot product, I am pretty sure it is actually now possible to create a Grok Bot autonomous agent that can log in here, read the posts, and respond with new posts and information without my input (except setting it up, training it, and providing it its login credentials), but at this point I am not sure I want to spend my usage on that.

It is a tempting idea to give a Grok Bot all the posting history for someone who no longer posts here and create a AI agent that posts as them based on their posting style and biography and see what happens.

Since I brought it up, just as an FYI I would never set something up like that without some sort of disclaimer or indication on each post that it was an AI generated rather than authentic.

It also occurs to me that y'all should also realize that this means that anyone really could do this. It doesn't require being an admin or mod or anything. Anybody could sign up for a legitimate message board account, then once they have an active account give the credentials to an agent. Currently this forum is kind of locked down to new signups (it requires moderator approval, and there is a backlog of 500+ attempted requests for activation from bot accounts. I don't really know how to publicly allow new signups in this new age.

The old man got a good deal out of it. And he’s teaching his kids financial independence…

In all seriousness, get a Will, guys. My brother has a blended Fambly (both on second marriages). I’ve discussed how he’s ensuring his kids by his first wife won’t get fucked over (I can’t stand his current wife — feeling is mutual). Glad he has his shit in order.

I doubt we are important enough to anyone outside this group to go thru that effort

it wasn't much of a stretch for me but I set up and AI Chat on our HR page to answer common questions. We created a 20 page F.A.Q. to reference first, and then had it search our internal site if it didn't get an aswer from the F.A.Q. and then if that fails , then generically recommend talking to a professional based on a list of categories we provided.

In all seriousness, when the wife and I got our wills, the attorney was useless. He fucked up every single thing in our will. When we went in to finalize it and get it notarized, we discovered that he not only fucked up who was supposed to get what, he fucked up exactly who owned what. We wrote all that down in emails, bullet points, and he was smirking at me like he didn't even fucking read it. We had to correct every single page of 34 pages of two wills. His paralegal had to retype up all 34 pages with us right there in the meeting instead of us just signing things. And why? Lawyer just "assumed" that my father in law (who did not own anything) owned everything. We did, he didn't. And he just "assumed" that we were going to inherit things from him instead of us just naming him and my mother in law as heirs incase anything happened to us!

You are better served using Legalzoom.com and have AI and algorithms just do the job of the attorney. It has a very precise interview process where it gets everything correct the first time, avoid human error. Lawyers are just humans and they fuck everything all up. Use technology, not people. Cheaper too.

AI is manufacturing a Skynet crisis becuase they can't stay ahead of the industry. I don't know what Trump will do but I do know Biden would have agreed with them, gave the keys to the biggest donors and talked to us about how important it is that he save us from robots taking over humanity, and the net result is we all pay $2-3K a year for AI access because there are only 3 AI companies.

Definitely a planned power play by big tech. I hope it fails miserably. Since That industry doesn't have anything on Trump like Israel does, it could go either way.

Speaking of big tech and AI, has anyone watched the series DEVS? It's only 8 episodes, but the first two reeled me in. Also starring Nick Offerman so you know it can't be terrible...

I think it was originally an F/X series if that means anything to you. Maybe F/X is owned by Hulu now, I don't know...

Ann Coulter's article yesterday was about this very thing. She says that large international corporations LOVE (not like, LOVE) government regulation because compliance for them, it is a fixed cost. It basically creates AI into monopolies because only 2 or 3 (maybe 4) companies are wealthy enough and structured enough to follow all the regulations. They get a sort of regulatory capture so to speak. No mom and pop business guy with $5 million in the bank could start up a company to compete. He is $100 billion behind them.

I am worth a few million bucks, not hundreds of billions. I could never fund a data center, let alone, bribe local politicians to get me around all the zoning and local ordinances to get a data center up and running the way the big 3 can. I mean more power to them. All I can do is invest in them and hope and pray that they make me wealthier.
