So yeah, I don't think Philly will ever host a Super Bowl. The security for people throwing batteries alone would be in the millions.

I just read an article on Grantland killing Peyton.

I don't get it. The article says he mailed it in and didn't sacrifice himself to win like Elway did.

I say fuck that noise - there were a shitload of great quarterbacks in the league this year, and all but 2 of 'em were sitting their ass on a couch watching the game like the rest of us. I'm looking at you Tom Brady.

I would gladly take Peyton Manning over Andy Dalton in a heartbeat, even with 2 years left in the tank. How many years does Andy have of blowing games?

apparently the article was a joke. It didn't read like one but I've been Bon Jovi'd before.

This will lead to stricter football workplace rules and likely will quickly spread to the NBA

"This will lead to stricter football workplace rules"

Two days later Papa passed away, and
I became a man that day
So I told Mama I was gonna quit school, but
She said that was Daddy's strictest rule

Ev'ry day I had to work the fields
'Cause that's the only way we got our meals, see
I was the oldest of the family
And ev'rybody else depended on me
Ev'ry night I heard my Mama pray
Lord, give him the strength to face another day

So years have passed and all the kids are grown
The angels took Mama to a brand new home
Lord knows, people, I shedded tears
But my daddy's voice kept me through the years

Patches, I'm dependin' on you, son
To pull the family through
My son, it's all left up to you

Best comment after the Incognito story was:

"The next bullying investigation will be in Seattle, for the national televised harassment they gave the Broncos on Feb 2nd."

I can't begin to tell you how many times I have either heard General Johnson sing patches or have heard a bunch of drunks at the beach sing it when it plays....

That'll be a hard culture to change, in any large way. Martin will never work in the L again. "Player A" who identified himself (and who now plays for the Panthers) was quick to say that, contrary to the findings, he did not feel he was bullied, does not know why the report says what it does regarding him and hopes to get on with his career. He did that because he knows how 80% of those locker rooms are. Some frat houses and police precincts are worse.

Work crews starting to remove upper deck on Commonwealth Stadium for renovation. UK is the only team in the SEC that is doing stadium renovation and DECREASING the number of seats... from 68k to 61k.
