Money eventually wakes everybody up - even the asshats in Carolina.

It's hard not to be excited about the offensive players signed in today's recruiting class. This is the most talent we've EVER signed at OL, the most talent at WR in at least 16 years, a 5 star RB (already enrolled but still), and a QB with a cannon that Fisher is extremely excited about (and Fisher knows QBs). Oh, and the best TE class in the country.

On defense, the LB class looks ridiculous (all three signees are 4-star). The DB class is a bit smaller than ideal, but we are stocked there already and the class of 2015 is expected to be much deeper. Plus I really like S Trey Marshall. Add in two top ten ranked kids at DT (Nnadi and Christmas) and a couple of apparently underrated defensive ends, and this class seems to meet a lot of needs all over the board.

a very good signing class on paper - now to see if they pan out

gotta agree with kevi's post about Harris over on the gator board - he will certainly be able to play much sooner in hog town than here in Tally

I know that Winston is a once in a generation player - but the fact we are once again signing and developing O linemen bodes well for the future and they dont get enough credit for the turnaround last year.

Don't forget injury luck - we got very lucky last year with no OL injuries (and really only one significant injury for the year). Our OL recruiting has been very thin in the last few years, and some (e.g. Fahrenkrug) were counted on to contribute but didn't. This year we have a very good OL class on paper, but they'll be thrown in the fire in 2015 as we potentially replace EVERYONE on offense.

Speaking of which, Winston and Fisher continue to hint that Jameis will be here two more seasons. Again, if the rest of the offense leaves after 2014, does Winston really want to stick around with all new personnel? More power to him if he does but it seems like a poor business decision in the long run. The replacements will undoubtedly be talented but...

No doubt missing the injury bug was huge - makes me worry that worm will turn this year.

After personally watching last nights shitastic effort from my perch 5 rows behind Miami's bench - I will just say that Coach Hamilton should be greatful that the football very effectively returned basketball to the sport nobody cares about.

Good lord we suck.

probably a good thing he didn't land Wiggins - would have been a waste of the kid's talent

No. Nothing like that. Not even close. Although feel free to take your "talents" elsewhere.
