The key is to read the whole post--to be too lazy to start a bottle of merlot etc doesn't make sense--too lazy to open the bottle?

So perhaps even First Amendment absolutists who picket stagings of “A Christmas Carol” and decry poinsettias as a Christian symbol should just relax. The Christmas of the Virgin Mary and the manger, the three kings and “Silent Night” is a Christian holy day celebrating the birth of Jesus. The Christmas of Santa Claus and Christmas trees, presents and parties and “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” is a winter solstice festival celebrating the rebirth of the sun.

HBO shitcans Bored To Death, Hung and Making it in America. Ho hum. BTD was good the first season but this year it sagged. the other 2 were shit all along. glad to see they've brought back Enlightenment and have 6 new series to debut in '12

Which show is the one with Don Cheadle as a morally loose head of a consultation firm? Is that HBO or Showtime?

count me as one who became enlightened after watching the whole season. it's a quirky show, part dark comedy, part commentary on social issues and Laura Dern has always seemed to straddle love her or hate her territory. Still, it has nuances that resonate with how things are in the work place (although I've never been in a corporate environment) and it also has Dougie, who cracks me up without trying to be funny.
It's the kind of show I'd love to watch stoned but I don't get stoned any more.
Will miss BTD but thought it slid noticeably this year. never got into HTMIIA at all. don't even know what it was about.
Luck has a great cast but the subject matter seems predictable, a notion not helped by previews for it.
