I birdied a par 5 from the sand trap today. Maybe not a big deal for some, but I'm an 18 handicap (at least), and it usually takes me 3 strokes to get out of any sand trap. Just getting it to the sand trap on a par 5 in 2 would've been the highlight of my round on most days. Wedged it out of the sand to about 12 feet (that alone would've also been the highlight of my round on most days), which is easily 3 putt territory for me, and then rolled it in from there (which again would've been the highlight of my round most days). I wish I could play like that all the time. Felt good...

I live in a golf-centric state. I envy you guys that you can enjoy golf.
Golf for me is getting frustrated and angry that I can't get the tiny ball in the tiny hole. I'm the guy who is throwing his golf clubs into the pond trap in anger. Normally I find great pleasure and gratification in sticking things in very small holes. But not golf. So I had stop golfing for my own sake and find another sport that I can enjoy. I play volleyball instead.

My enjoyment level of playing golf is inversely proportional to the greens fee.

“ "People that know them (the Murdaughs) are extremely shocked that this happened, because he's a well respected attorney."
LOL, people that know them are worried because they were involved in his shenanigans. I hope the investigation tentacles go out far.

Maybe DS can weigh in on a defense attorney’s responsibility to their client and public. I understand client privilege and publicly claiming your client’s innocence, but publicly lying about events? His attorney initially said there was an entrance and exit bullet wound, then it was a billet grazed his head, but now his arrest photos show no wound at all. He also claimed his client was airlifted and he wasn’t.
