When students at Texas A&M found out that the Westboro Baptist Church was planning a protest at the funeral of a soldier who was killed in active duty, they formed a “maroon wall” around the church to shelter the family and friends of the fallen soldier.

Cool pic, Crotch. I'd rather see one of the Aggies kicking the shit out of those imbeciles, but still a kind gesture.

Would love to see this happen at every college town. Props to Texas A&M.

We had a military funeral at my church. Bikers formed a peremiter all around the grounds. That damn Westboro didn't show.

so we're at the pool today and honeybees are hanging all over the place, probably because there's a hive somewhere in the nearby woods. A friend of mine is trying to reassure his 5-year-old daughter that just because there's a few bees buzzing around, they won't sting unless you start trying to swat at them. Just about the time he has her convinced, my wife yells out, "A bee just stung me in the ear!" and his whole spiel went to hell.

the cool thing was that my wife pulled out the stinger (it was in her ear gristle so it didn't go very deep) and I saved it. now I can keep my kid in line later by threatening him with it.

Seriously though, honey bees rarely sting because it kills them. If you are stung it's usually near the end of the season when they are dying out.

Maybe she had a lot of wax in her ear.
