Text from the MIF's daughter who is down at the beach right now: "All the schools in Morehead City just got bomb threats and we just saw the entire police and military and undercover cops drive thru Arendall St. This crazy guy did it and apparently also threatened Walmart and is on the run."

That looks like my kindergarten picture. Our schools in first grade were either more integrated than y'alls or else y'all just didn't have many black folks in Paducah...

technically that was West Paducah. I'm pretty sure we didn't have a single Latino in my high school the entire time I was there. I can't remember any. We had a brother and sister from Laos that were adopted at early teens.

I don't have many memories from first grade but collectively I have anecdotal stories for most of the people in that picture.

The 3 kids that would be considered overweight in that picture all died before reaching 40. So there's that plug for avoiding childhood obesity.

I also doubt anyone in that picture had parents that made more than $10K a year
