Hardly Strictly Bluegrass has come and gone again...

highlights: Robert Plant and the Band of Joy doing about half a dozen Zeppelin songs in their set, and Plant stepping on stage to due a song with Pattie Griffin the next day. John Prine, Justin Townes Earle, seeing Steve Earle hanging out behind the stage on Saturday and Sunday (though he only jumped on stage with about half a dozen other musicians for Justin Townes finale), Robert Earl Keen, and the Punch Brothers... though this last one needs a follow-up, chemical enhancements may have drastically improved that set.

Oh, and I got to see (more hear) a little of Dr. Johns and Kris Krisstofferson/Merle Haggerd's sets too. Also sweet.

The only reason people went to OU games was for the band and then everyone left. The football team was god awful back when I was there.
