Congrats from Brazil! I didn't get to watch many games this year, but you looked to have an impressive team for the season and for the next few. I'll hope that it is a short lived tenure and that most of them declare for the draft after next season.

Thanks SG.

We should be good next year then it's going to be rough sledding. As I posted above, it's very possible that we will have 10 seniors starting plus the defending Heisman winner on offense next year - we'll be worse at WR but overall the O should be good.

On defense, the DTs will be worse with losing Jernigan, McDaniel, and McAllister. There are quality 5 star replacements with Goldman, Niles Lawrence-Stample, and (probably) Justin Shanks but the experience and production of the other three will be hard to replace. Joyner's leadership and senior production will be hard to replace but the talent in the defensive backfield will again be the best in the nation, and LB will be a strength as well.

So in short, we should be in the hunt for a conference championship next year and if the ball bounces our way and we stay as injury-free as this year, possible a playoff contender. The year after will absolutely be a rebuilding year.

I haven't seen any mention of this here on the goat pen...

suppossedly Pruitt's 23 year old fiancee (he is 39) demanded he leave FSU because he was cheating on her with another woman in the athletic dept. - this does not explain the rumors of Pruitt not telling anyone of his departure until after the uga announcement - there has to be some under lying circumstances to all this but does the fiancee really think that he will stop sniffing after leaving Tally?

If even true, she's a 23 year old banging a athletic coach, why even try to fathom what she might think?

2014 schedule has been leaked...shockingly, the ACC has been very generous to FSU for the second straight year.

8/30 - Oklahoma St (Dallas)
9/6 - Citadel
9/13 - bye
9/20 - Clemson - with their losses on offense, it's good to catch them early. Their defense should be improved though.
9/27 - @NCSU
10/4 - Wake Forest
10/11 - @Syracuse
10/18 - Notre Dame - potentially the toughest home game though UF should be very improved
10/25 - bye
10/30 - @Louisville - last Thursday night game at Papa John was a disaster
11/8 - UVA
11/15 - @Miami
11/22 - Boston College
11/29 - UF

The last three games will be very physical and potentially tough. But a home slate of Clemson, Notre Dame, and UF are very attractive.

The Gators won't be relevant again till 2015 but they will show great improvement after the Urb Purge is finally over and Will's recruits get older & better. It is Florida after all.

UF's defense will again be strong this year even with a fair amount of talent loss. Muschamp has shown himself to put together good defenses and next year will be no different.

The offense really can't get worse. Driskel is a veteran, and though he's not proven himself yet, there's a reason he was a top recruit and that's because he has talent. Assuming Muschamp hasn't been the sole cause of the offensive woes since he took the helm, I have faith that Roper will do a better job of putting his players in a position to succeed than Pease did. Plus there's no way the injury bug will bite as hard as it did in 2013.

Florida's offensive woes are Urban's fault. Give Muschamp a 5-year extension. The man clearly knows his offense

Give Urban one too. He'll never see it though. Once Tressels recruits flush out his heart will start hurting again.

I like the schedule. Tougher than last year but sets up well.

Went to the basketball game vs Notre Dame tuesday nite - good time - good close game!

Yeah last year was the friendliest schedule we've had in a loooong time but this one is still miles better than @Clemson right after Oklahoma. SMH.

Maybe somebody in the ACC office finally figured out it doesnt pay (literally) to fuck over your best team schedule wise.
