AMC is up 229% on the day. I'm guessing there will be a pause on small cap short selling for a bit.

They will try to fix this by going after reddit, reddit users, probably Elon Musk, and by trying to "regulate the internet" and probably try to ban people from day trading and apps like robinhood. It’s a lie. Robinhood is a free app. So what is the product? Just like social media, their product is the people who at first glance are their customer. They sell all their data to big firms and hedge funds who make money off of analyzing it. (Which is perfectly acceptable and not market manipulation at all, just ask them. But a a group of people on the internet analyzing the fact that a stock is susceptible to a squeeze based on data is dastardly.)

the timing of that is going to be bad if they do. Biden fucking over all the underemployed/unemployed people that got him elected by killing any chance they have of taking their $600 free stimulus money and turning it into $6000?
