well I'm bored out of my mind, everything is closed, its 18 damn degrees, you can't go hang out with anyone and I've watched so much TV my eyes are glazed over.

Sex takes up about 15 minutes and that includes washing my dick first

"E! has a "Its a Wonderful Life" marathon on right now. I just leave it on in the background."

That's right... that's right...

I made lemon poundcakes to pass time over the Yuletide.

Is that what you're calling your turds now, "lemon poundcakes"? Cute...

Speaking of turds, I thought this was kinda amusing. From the wikipedia entry for Lord Byron:

"By 1822, cautious acceptance by the public had turned to outrage, and Byron's publisher refused to continue to publish the works. In Canto III of Don Juan, Byron expresses his detestation for poets such as William Wordsworth and Samuel Taylor Coleridge. In letters to Francis Hodgson, Byron referred to Wordsworth as "Turdsworth".

It's nice to know that disrespection and sassery have such a long, rich history. Verily, we are Byron's heirs...

if your wife and kids won't stop eating your expensive bag of trail mix, just mix some cat chow in it and then watch their reaction when they blindly grab a handful out of the bag and stuff it in their mouths

This is better if you read it in Jesco White's voice and replace "expensive" with "costly."

Has anybody checked out this GameStop (stock symbol GME) stock? It was trading below $5 for most of the year, then jumped up to the $10-$15 range for a few months in the fall, then went to $20 just before Christmas. Couple of weeks ago it jumped from $20 to $40 overnight and traded in the $40 range for about a week, then jumped to $80 and now today it traded $350+. Even more profitably, you could've bought the $30 call options all day long for a couple of weeks in early Jan for 25 cents (and they traded as low as 14 cents), could've sold those today for $320. That's 1300 times your money back in about 2 weeks. My future son-in-law told me it was something to do with reddit. He said another one that some reddit community got on lately is AMC (it is listed as AMC Entertainment, I can't believe this has anything to do with the movie theater chain but who knows), that was trading under $2 earlier this month, it jumped to $20 today...

yea I read an article about it a few weeks ago. It wasn't anywhere near the numbers you are talking about now but alot of people shorted it thinking they would go belly up due to online gaming - their model is more in line with blockbluster.

But the story I read said that it was way premature, that Gamestop will eventually either die or change their business model but they are still making money and their decline against the odds has been gradual.

Currently the market cap is over $25 billion, that's up from less than $200 million less than a year ago. Evidently these reddit folks burned the supposedly seasoned Wall Street traders for several billion dollars...
