Heh, well the basic shit is there...name, age and address, but otherwise you'll have to be an internet maestro to find anything that officially ties my name, my face and any writings together. I did have a MySpace way back in day for a bit with pics and whatnot...but even that I set on fire like Keyser Sose did that village in Turkey.

I'm good on facebook
Jamaican cat, but my name is so anglicized you'd have to search through 20-30 pages to find me on facebook

Somebody is going to come up with a program that will create a false identity for people. Instead of seeing pictures of you doing keg stands at bonfires, colleges will see a Facebook profile of "you" doing volunteer work and studying. It will work for anybody at any age. Shouldn't be that difficult. Call it the Internet Obfuscator....

UK should spend that money on football facilties.
Basketball ticket prices went up for next year. I think they are like $40-$50 per ticket now to sit on bleachers.
Student tickets are still the cheapest in the SEC so thats a nice touch

Until 5 or 6, I was a "State fan" as much as any kid could be at such a young age, but I still followed mom's lead and pulled for Carolina when they were playing. Thankfully, my mom won the fight for my soul, and my father and his Wuffie ways lost out. Thank God.

I dont have a facebook account either
facebook craze should die off one of these days I imagine
key is to come up with whatever would replace it
I send internet cards now though to my mom and dad for variuos shit
why pay 4 bucks for card and stamp for at best a dust collector and more likely a quick trip to the garbage after 2-3 days
key is not to let the missus catch you throwing away her cards after 2 or 3 days of having them out in the open

I apparently have an account. I do not know my password and never go there. I started it, hated it, and never went back.

Almost everybody my age and younger has an account, and certainly almost all of those within desirable marketing demographics.

I did not lie. I have no Facebook friends and I do not "Facebook" - unless you call having a page that I created out of curiosity, many years back, and abandoned after 15 minutes, "Facebooking". If you do, I still did not lie; rather, my definition of "Facebooking" and yours are different. Further, I do not plan to adopt your definition because my definition is correct. To recap: I. Do. Not. Facebook. Period.
I will brook no further discussion on this topic.

It's not the concept that will go away, per se (IMO), it's the platform. What separates FB from MySpace? From Friendster? The only separation is the 1 billion users. Now, that's nothing to sneeze at, but it doesn't necessarily make it stickier. My thought is that FB will run into something else that kids think is cooler because all of the 30 and younger people will have it and very soon will be seen as the old farts place to hang out.
Personally, I had my doubts on FB when I heard that China already had their version of it. If you're basically frozen out of China, your future prospects are not as bright.
