After staying on my son literally every day for the past 3 months, grades came out today and he made honors and finished the year on honors.

It isn't supposed to be this hard. Relieved describes my mood more than proud

its not bragging. I feel as if I made the honor roll with the amount of work I had to put in with him. As far as I'm concerned he did the bare minimum not to be an indentured slave for me all summer. I've decided I'm hiring a private tutor for him next year.

My daughter on the other hand, I could brag on.

Fuck it. Make him take a lap anyways.

Im just glad my kids moved up another grade. E, Huntington Learning center has really helped my 15 year old.

Maybe that last part is what aTm felt you were bragging about. Not the effort, but the fact that you made the honor roll. At any rate, good job, good effort!

DS, who was that basketball player at Kernersville Glenn High in the late '90s, early '00s that was supposed to be so great but never panned out, as I recall. can't remember his name to save my life now.

I think its one of his cousins.

It was early to mid 2000's. Roy recruited him for a while. IIRC, he thought he had an offer and tried to commit, but that blew up in his face. I can't remember his name either. I can picture him though. He was highly touted at 15 and 16 but flamed out early.
