at least it will be a sell out

recent events makes it hard for them to defend they aren't the worst professionally run franchise now.

I'd love for Cincinnati to put the screws on them and go back to pulling funding for the stadium and the like for their non performance as a professional team.

I wonder if the Saints and the Titans are wishing they had gotten Mario now.

Obviously Palmer found the situation intolerabe. No man in his right mind walk away from that much money without a good reason. It just amazes me that the Hamilton County commissioners were so stupid to allow Brown to ass rape them to the point that they can do nothing about him. As for me, plenty of college programs to get excited about.

Pride goeth before the fall! Pride can make you do a dumb thing.

Truthfully, I don't think Palmer is worth what he's making anyway. He's not been the same since his injury. He tried a power play, has been much better treated by the people on here and in the press than when Ochocinco tried a few years ago.

Meh, I never turned against Chad. Some of his act got old, but I never thought he was a bad guy. The only Bengal players that try to force their way out that I turn against are the ones who start trashing the city and the fans. Bash the organization all you wan, but leave the city out of it. Its had enough already.

yeah, I probably shouldn't have said on here. I'm going from memory and may be confusing all the negative comments about what Chad was doing with national media as opposed to in the Goat Pen

the national media trashed Chad pretty well

I've always been a fan - honestly , up until a couple of years ago the guy was a team player. I remember a story of Keyshawn Johnson and McStabby giving him shit about playing for the Bengals when he first came into the league and he got in their face about it.

Banner day for the USMNT.

Meanwhile, I can't decide if this is funny, sad, or pathetic by the U.S. Park Police: http://deadspin.com/5825927/fc-barcelon ... ce-officer

He also said that Nnamdi wasn't a true shutdown corner. He may be right about whatever points he's trying to make, but sounding like a 76-year old stroke victim probably isn't going to help his point resonate with his audience.

Would love for Bama to schedule a 4-game series with Rice. We've played 3 times (in the mid 1950's) and Bama is 0-3.

Yeah, that was the most famous of the games. The other two Bama teams sucked, which led to the firing of the coach after the 1957 season.

Alabama then hired Paul Bryant. The rest, as they say, is history. In Bryant's case, glorious, crush-the-skulls-of-your-enemies history.

Smart man Bear Bryant. Refused to schedule the Owls again.
