Listening to the Committee Chair talk about why Alabama jumped to #1 and Miss State is top 4, one would come to the conclusion that neither team actually lost that game.

I hate that Miss State is in it. Providing we beat Auburn and they beat Ole Miss, I do NOT Want to play them again.

I know how LSU felt a couple of years back. The rematch will be trouble.

If the Bama coaching staff had decided not to shut down the offense at halftime, it would have been the blowout I predicted. I hate to break it to you AA, but MSU ain't that good. But a narrow victory is better for Bama than a blowout right now (mo money, mo money, mo money) so kudos for doing it the right way.

I disagree. They are a very good team. Love their front seven on D and their O line. We didn't decide to shut anything down. We were still trying to run our offense.

Strangelove - yes indeed - we had a decisive victory by Bama and a good, close loss by Miss St in the same game!!! Good times!!!

Doc, I'm glad you just posted. I just heard the FSU shooter was a lawyer. I can now presume he wasn't you.

Beat the SEC? Georgia Southern played the Conference?

Is it your assertion that the SEC is a bad college football conference? Christ on a cross, rickart, you are a fucking moron.

I took a look at Sagarin this morning and Jesus H Christ, he has Ole Miss at #2. 7 SEC teams in his top 14 (including 6-6 Arkansas).

Florida State is #17. Georgia Tech is #18 and ranked 12 spots behind Georgia, who they just beat and have a better record than.

WTF?

Also 10-2 Missouri is ranked behind the 6-6 Arkansas team they just beat. Sagarin's system officially broken. It should be producing a pretty good ranking at this time of year. Instead, it's total shit.

That portion of the BCS was it's weak link to me... one would have thought the AP could have gotten over their hissy fit from USCw, and had a good average of 3 human polls.

You sound like fan of ELO. Try that column if you don't like distortion from score differentials.
