Eli is a damned good QB. Not better than Peyton, but arguably better than Brady, IMO.

I can't go that far as Eli > Brady although I think the Patriots are in league with the Devil

According to Bellicheat, it's the other way around.

he's never been one for giving the Devil his due

A Saints/Patriots or Packers/Patriots game would look like some of the college bowl games; high scoring, poor tackling

only if the Pats can survive the visit from the Fighting Tebows first...

Personally if the Tebows don't make it past the Pats, then I hope the stadium opens up and swallows the AFC championship game.

Ok, you probably just discredited yourself from any argument on any subject with that one...

There have been many well before that nugget.

Imagine Brady playing for the Giants. Could he really do a better job with that team than Eli has? I just don't see the evidence that supports that he would. But show me your evidence and I'll be glad to consider it.

...or, more likely, tell you why you're wrong.

You made the comment dumbass. You provide the facts.

I get tired of being the only one who provides facts. I thought maybe you could try it for a change.

Silly me.

What players did the Patriots have that were better than the Giants?

Was the Patriots defense better than the Giants?
Was the running game of the Patriots better than the Giants?

Sardis nails both points.

Hacksaw apparently has retreated from Brady-Peyton comparisons, and left grasping with praising Brees and embracing speculation about Eli....

From what I've seen of Eli and Brady, Eli performs better when he is under a significant pass rush. Brady is fine as long as he can stand back there all day long and survey the field, which is the case most of the time. When he gets pressured, which is rare, he's very average. Eli, OTOH, makes tons of clutch throws under pressure. I could see Eli doing very well on the Pats (most QBs in the league would be "better" on that team). Put Brady on the Giants and I don't think he'd do as well as Eli has.

One man's opinion, of course.
