Contact your physician.

And if you Google "priapism" don't click on "Image."

I have a portable XM radio. It's about the size of an MP3 player. It records, you can put a miniture SD card in with MP3s. If I rent a car that doesn't have XM I just plug it into the Aux port and it usually gets good reception just laying on the dash.

I hate the fact that we've changed the definition of acronym. I guess I should just get over it, but I doubt I will. I'm still pissed factoid's current usage is the exact opposite of its original definition.

Anyway, just wanted to get that off my chest.

What have we changed it to?

It's now used interchangeably with abbreviation. Originally, an acronym was an abbreviation that spelled a word...like SCUBA, RADAR, SNAFU, NASA and things of that nature.

Nowadays WTF qualifies as an acronym, even though no one says "wahtif" when referencing it.

(the factoid change is irony at its best. Originally, a factoid was a falsity that was repeated so many times that people accepted it as fact. That's totally not the meaning now...as if there is a such thing as a "small fact." It's a fact or not)

If this place is like the old WX NBA thread, then it is a holdover from the CNNSI days. If that's the case, then it was during the time when most of us were mid/late twenties, early 30s. So, we all gravitated to the same topics and reference points. Then we went to WX and brought along like minded people and then here. So, as we went to different platforms, we took along "our people" so it makes sense the age demographic would be relatively similar.

My email has been hacked and it's sent a link to anyone who has ever sent me an email. Can I fix it or should I just shoot myself?
