Nice signing. Still a bit small though.

who threw for a national-record 837 yards and had 10 touchdown passes in a 104-80 North Carolina state playoff win last month
Hopefully no one on defense for either team will get a D1 scholarship offer. Jeez.

Every once in a while you get one of those games where everything goes wrong for you while everything goes right for the other team and there isn't a f*cking thing that will change the trend. Looks like we've been overdue one of those nights.

UNC did better than this against Louisville. Therefor:

UNC >>>>>>>>>> Florida

Last night was like the Fiesta Bowl against Nebraska, Jan 1996.

It was brilliant coaching effort. Louisvile basically said, "...go ahead, throw the ball, we don't think you can because your QB is a fucking statue... in fact we'll sack your QB repeatedly if you try...." and on offense Louisville was saying "...go ahead, sack our QB. We'll complete way more 20 yard passes than you will QB sacks, fuck you. And we'll continue to run the ball every once in a while." It was perfect.

Well UF briefly led in that game.... Felt more like the 45-3 shellacking we get at Rocky Top in 1990 or TWLOCP in '82.

"when was Florida down 36-7?"

That just proves my point. We were down worse than Florida and yet we came back and were inside the 20 with the ball and a chance to win the game at the end. UF never got that close. Again I say:

UNC >>>>>>>>> Florida

no, that proves the point that Florida was more competitive against Louisville than the other Carolina was.

The Gators didn't get boat-raced....

Boat-raced? With 8:33 left in the game against Florida, Louisville scored to make it 33-10. Against, UNC, with 8:36 left in the game, UNC scored to make it 39-28. Further, we scored again less than 4 minutes later to cut it to 5. Louisville never got closer than 10 and that wasn't until less than 3 minutes left in the game. So who got "boat-raced"?

the team that fell behind 36-7 from the get-go.

(unless you truly fancy garbage-time scoring....)

"the team that fell behind 36-7 from the get-go."

So the team that's down 33-10 halfway thru the 4th quarter was more competitive than a team that was down 36-7 at the half but had cut it to 11 in the 4th quarter? Got it...

Ughh! Better season than anticipated, but that's an awful way to finish. Wait 'til next year!
