He doesn't plan on practicing there. He's just convinced that the Penn name will get him a clerkship where he wants him and he was waitlisted at Harvard and Yale.

In other news...Alabama has signed 87 players to their latest recruiting class...only to be outdone by LSU's 89 players. When asked about oversigning players and the ethics of it Nick Saban was quoted as saying "Worth. Every. Cent."

LSU 89, Bama 87?

I don't like losing to LSU!

Don't worry...The Nick will sign a few more late ones to beat The Mad Hatter. Nobody beats Bama at cheating. Nobody.

Is your son sending you monthly bills for all the hours he is studying?

BTW, if you visit Philly, NEVER EVER take Germantown Rd. from Mt. Airy into the city. I did that once, and don't recommend it.

I've been to Philly many times. The City Tavern is one of my favorite places outside of NOLA.

I've got in-laws in Philly, so we go there every couple of years.

Philly, by-in-large, gets a bad rap. Many things I like about the area.

Philly has the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, and the Franklin Museum. If you cross the river, there's the USS New Jersey. There's also the Mutter Museum, which might be of interest to a medical-type person.

Other than that, it's not a big deal.

Philly has some great bars, has culture, good restaurants and is a major metropolitan area. It's not NYC, but it's not Cleveland or Cincinnati either.
