Obama sucks, but Romney would be alot worse.

As bad as Obama has been during his first term, McCain/Palin would likely have been worse in every major policy decision.

IB - Please be specific:

1) What "danger" do we face from "Islam"?

2) How has Ron Paul been "championing the legalization of heroin"?

What do you think McCain would have done differently? Outside of adding $5 trillion to the national debt, I can't think of anything. Take away all that added debt and it's likely the overall economy would be in better shape as well. McCain would have ordered the military to kill at least as many terrorists as Obama has. Maybe more.

Obama has been an unmitigated disaster. Romney can't possibly be any worse.

During the speech, Obama ripped into the presumptive GOP nominee and discussed nation building at home, but the most newsworthy item of the day was not the talking points Obama delivered: it was the crowd... or lack thereof. According to ABC News, the Obama campaign had expected an "overflow" of people. Instead, the arena was half-empty. The Columbus Dispatch reports that Obama organizers even had people move from the seats to the floor of the gym in order to project a larger crowd on television.

Right...because he'll destroy the environment, outlaw homosexuality, repeal civil rights, throw old folks out into the streets and starve children.

I remember when they said the same warnings about George W. Bush.

I won't be alone in hating the next 4 years, if Obama wins re-election. The whole country will continue to suffer. But the ring-kissers will be happy, because results don't matter to them. All that matters is that their guys wins.

Tell them that the other side is completely evil and doesn't have a single valid idea and that the country will be forever ruined if you don't vote Obama/Romney in 2012.
Yep. Same shit they've said about Iran and a nuke since about 1980.

One difference is things r's want to do generally aren't impossible to reverse.

Things d's want to do are usually huge entitlement programs that once leeches start collecting will never go away. Opramacare is an example of that but since it doesn't really go into effect until 2014 it still has a small shot at being repealed if scouts doesn't do it's job. Window is small though.

What IB is trying to tell you is that that Mitt Romney's principles depend on what level of government he's trying to win office in. It's dangerous to let the national govt. make your healthcare decisions for you; not so with the state government.

You don't want some know-nothing govt bureaucrat making your healthcare decisions for you, do you? I mean, some state employee, yeah, that's cool. But a Federal employee?? OUTRAGEOUS TYRANNY
If people of a state choose to do so and ant a heavens gate type health plan for THEM....fine by me as long as it doesn't cost extra money from the Feds.

A week or less and I never check a bag. More than a week and it's hard. Plus, I need the extra space to bring back all the souvenirs and candy for the kids. Come to think of it, if I drank hard liquor or smoked cigarettes I would always bring an extra bag. Duty-free is the shit.
