Blue states at the top; red at the bottom. Pick any K-12 achievement category and it's almost always the same. Along with per capita funding.

How 'bout that? It's almost like the '08 prez election map...the top categories voted overwhelmingly for the winner, while the bottom categories threw in with the gop loser.

how about that? location, location, location! the states where they have the biggest problems with English as a Second Language/illegal imigration are also the states that get clobbered in math. why are you so surprised?

I grew up in Massachusetts, the state smart enough to elect our next President as their Governor. We all cranked the SATs and ACTs tick. And that is because the Boston suburbs are very homogenous, with near 100% literacy rates. the illegals they have in Boston are from Ireland

The 'Detroit et al as-the sickest-children(states/cities) run into the ground by dems' metaphor?

I absolutely think it's your best work to date.

Yepper, a blue state elected Romney.

Which, as we all know, led to romneycare...which, as we all know, led to obamacare.

this is going to be the best 6 months ever around here

as I said, Massachusetts is homogenous. the illegals they have are Irish (and maybe Domincan.) It is much easier to enforce a health care mandate at a state level when 90% of the state was already working technology/academia jobs and HAD health insurance, than it is to enforce a Federal mandate that reaches Arizona where 10%+ of the population is living here illegally. why the fuck would criminals buy health insurance simply because NOT having it was against the law?

having fun yet?

Tick, do you have a CLUE what Federalism is? It is okay if you don't, our President doesn't know what Federalism is either. But Mitt Romney knows.

tick, there was going to be a GOP candidate for President

seriously, among the GOP candidates, who is most qualified to describe the differences (to the moderates) between Romneycare and Obamacare than Willard Mitt Romney?

Its not that Obama is a bad guy, but the marginal benefit of putting him in power has unequivocably been negative.

There is nothing in his agenda that would lead any rational person to believe that the economy will prosper, any uptick is in spite of his agenda, not because of it...
