I would love to have the job where I stand up and tell my team "look around, all of you at best are a 5"

The ChiComs aren't limiting that shit to DC. The ChiComs and Russians honeypot / try to honeypot folks from Bragg / Liberty constantly because JSOC is located here. I play golf with a couple of SF guys / have kids who are in the same age and play together, and if you're SF and going to Africa and will be somewhere other than in the field, those guys say there is a damn good chance the Chinks will try to honeypot you, regardless of how low key you try to be.

I’m in ecat country this weekend…Cadiz, KY…right in the middle of the Land Between the Lakes area.
Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley are pretty awesome…

Yeah.
If the wife and I aren't travelling, we are travelling to Costco Friday Night.

I vacationed in Kuttawa which is about 15 miles from Cadiz this summer. My sister owned a farm there back in the 80's.
As a teen my summers were spent around Kentucky Lake and LBL.
We went to Cadiz for dinner one night - can't remember where.
Here is my report from Kuttawa lest you forget

are there any islands in the middle of the Ohio river where a person could vacation there if they chose?

I wish you'd vacation on an island at the mouth of Niagara Falls...

there are a few islands but only one or two offers any access and that would be tent camping
honestly I wouldn't recommend it unless you just have to be on a giant lake.
Its a bit of a desert in terms of retail offerings. Pattis in Grand Rivers is OK but its a tourist trap. You need reservations from open to close on the weekends.

No commercial airliner flights into Haiti until the FAA can figure out who is shooting bullets at our airliners. Or at the least until they know for sure the one who shot that Spirit airlines flight attendant was arrested
