Louisville is currently ranked behind 2 one loss SEC teams in the AP poll

My statement was if Bama loses and Louisville remains unbeaten, and I only considered those teams (and Ohio State). I believe "Bama fatigue" would keep another us from losing in November again and still reaching the title game.

Louisville can go undefeated and they still won't make the MNC. Not with that schedule. No way.

If they do, they should do away with the BCS!

Forget Fresno and Northern Illinois, there are still way too many undefeated BCS teams. 3 in the ACC? 3 in the Big-XII? 2 in the Pac-12? It's almost Halloween.

So what is the worst that could happen?

Alabama doesn't lose a game.

Oregon doesn't lose a game.

Clemson doesn't lose a game.

Ohio State doesn't lose a game.

Louisville doesn't lose a game.

Either Baylor, or Mizzou, or Texas Tech doesn't lose a game.

That would be the worst thing that could happen. If it did, how could anyone make any rational arguments as to who should play for the MNC?

Missouri is in the SEC, not the Big 12. Alabama and Mizzou will play each other if undefeated.

I stand corrected.

I don't know how Mizzou remains undefeated given what happened to their QB but I suppose its possible. They certainly kicked the crap out of Georgia.

What I'm shocked about is what Texas Tech and Baylor are doing. Kudos to them, but they both still have to play a Texas team that has been reborn since the Mormon Meadow Massacre in Provo.

I made a prediction of a Clemson-Louisville MNC several months ago. I'm sticking with it even if the best I could possibly hope for is a #3 and #5 ranking of my two teams in the first BCS poll on Satruday (assuming they both hold serve.)

Alabama is NOT going to lose to Arkansas NOR is Oregon going to lose to Wazzou so the best thing Clemson can do is take care of FSU business and hold to their #3 poll ranking (which I'm almost CERTAIN is their initial BCS ranking.) Ohio State is going to clobber the Hawk Eyes so that brings Louisville in at what will be (IMHO) a very low ranked #5. (I refuse to acknowledge LSU or Texas A&M because both teams have built-in guaranteed second losses on their schedules, so they are non-factors.) UCLA and Miami will be right on Louisville's ass.

Who is going to beat Alabama if you are certain that LSU has a sure fire loss on their schedule?

The only potential loss for Alabama is LSU. This would make the LSU-Texas A&M game huge

Well it will have to be Auburn. LSU will not beat Alabama.

I'm sticking with my Clemson-Louisville MNC prediction even though I have a hard time believing that it will happen. When I made that prediction, I did that with the firm belief that Alabama had zero chance of beating Texas-A&M. Your Aggies let me down....

In the world of reality, Stanford will eventually upset Oregon (or Oregon State will, or someone will) and Clemson will get nut-smacked by their in-state rivals. Then you have an Ohio State-Alabama MNC because both teams will finish 13-0 (and Louisville is on the outside, looking in) and well, that is what everyone wants anyway. But I'm still sticking with my earlier prediction because I am a stubborn mother fucker.

Auburn has as much of a chance of beating Alabama as does Samford.

DS - Do I need to even bring up the Deadskins and Cowboys from this weekend? I mean it is getting kinda old hat. 7-3 last ten meetings and that is with the Deadskins taking both meetings last year.

AA, they are much better than I thought they would be.

My point remains.
