I've started watching the Sopranos again. Its been long enough that I don't remember the details. The show has held up well over time.
Watching it I can remember looking forward to Sunday night. My wife and I would plan our evening around that show coming on, and then at one point I think Deadwood came on afterwards.
The best part of watching it now is I can fast forward past the scenes that include Meadow and A.J..
I think the Richie Aprille second season is the best one - Aprille shows up and is a pain in the ass to Tony, Big Pussy is wearing a wire and Chris gets shot in a driveby.
That was great television

Depends on what you like - Ralph Cifarito is a character you'll love to hate, and later on in the series Steve Buscemi shows up as Tony's passive aggressive cousin..not to mention the Russian in the woods episode. Buscemi directed the Russian in the Woods episode which is why is probably has a Fargo feel to it.
Christopher becomes a hard core gangster but his base personality traits keep getting in the way of his relationship with Tony
Where the series goes downhill is they realized by season 3 they just couldn't keep killing off everyone so it went to a wider dynamic and unfortunately , for me anyways, that meant more air time for Carmella, Meadow and A.J., Christopher and Adriana get more air time and a parade of lower level guys go up in the mob as the series continues.
I get that a Mafia boss is going to have troubled, entitled kids, and a wife conflicted with the wealth that her life gives her while struggling with the guilt of what her husband does to earn it
but goddamn...ever episode we have to deal with that? Every season Tony has to bribe Carmella to keep her love - a fur coat, a porsche SUV, a custom built home, etc.,

Had a nice sausage calzone from the local Italian place for lunch. Very tasty but am fighting a nap now.
There are also 3 movies I have mild interest in this weekend - 47 Meters Down, All Eyez on Me, and Rough Night.
Good possibility they will all suck but hopefully one of them will be good.
Be nice if ScoJo got naked in Rough Night.

"The Sopranos" was awesome.
Too many great scenes and lines to recount. Enough time has gone by I might go back and watch them again.

no disrespect to Lynda Carter, but oh my goodness, Gal Gadot, she IS Wonder Woman! That scene when she climbs out of that trench, I was like... whoa!!!!

I'm sure Wonder Woman is in complete agreement with your view on women in general...

------
Carrie Fisher had cocaine, methadone, heroin and ecstasy in her system when she died in December, according to an autopsy report released Monday.
The coroner’s report listed sleep apnea as the primary cause of death, with drug intake as a contributing factor. The report stated that Fisher’s family objected to a full autopsy, and coroner’s investigators had access to limited toxicology specimens. The conclusions were based on toxicology results and an external examination of Fisher’s body.

Saw Wonder Woman last night.
It was ok, but not worthy of the praise I've seen around the internet.
I actually thought The Mummy was just as good, but neither were worth $12 at the theater.

The problem with Wonder Woman is that she's not played by the 70s version of Lynda Carter, who had probably the best set of tits ever in Hollywood. I'm sure Lyle Wagoner would vouch for that.
