except for the"talent." and jonquil the dauphin (or was he a michigan state fan?). and ding/mook. and mecca. and CAT.
but mostly, TGP = winnah.

congrats to UK and its long-suffering hillfolk fans. 14 years is a bit of a spell to go without a title. this was a great team and fun to watch. didn't know if Cal would ever be able to find a freshman-laden squad so disciplined and able to mesh together but he did it. the good news is that he's got to keep doing it every year. would hate to see this team stay together.

Darius Miller was Mr. Basketball, Won a State Title, Went to the N.I.T. as a freshman and has a national championship.
